Escape to Nanny's Beach House, a charming coastal retreat located in the peaceful beachside village of Berrara on the South Coast of NSW. Fully renovated inside and featuring brand-new furnishings throughout, this beautifully presented holiday chalet offers modern comfort, stylish interiors and a peaceful waterfront outlook, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind with family or friends.
Things to note about the property:
- Linen and towels are not supplied (contact our office for the local linen hire company)
- Aircon is available.
- Shared Laundry facilities
- Guests are Required to supply their own firewood.
- No smoking inside the Chalet
- No pets allowed.
- No Wifi available and mobile reception unreliable
Step inside to discover a fresh, modern interior with high ceilings, a spacious open-plan living area, comfortable furnishings and a cosy wood fireplace. The fully renovated kitchen features modern appliances and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, while the inviting living space is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The chalet features two comfortable bedrooms, with the main bedroom offering a queen bed and the second bedroom featuring a double bed with a single trundle, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for families or small groups. The modern bathroom includes a spacious shower and double vanity, with a separate toilet for added convenience.
Outside, enjoy the timber deck complete with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ, perfect for afternoon drinks, family meals or simply soaking up the fresh coastal air. The chalet also features an outdoor shower, ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Surrounded by greenery and overlooking nearby Berrara Lagoon, it's a wonderful setting to sit back and unwind.
Located in the beautiful coastal village of Berrara, guests can enjoy easy access to Berrara Beach, nearby waterways and scenic bushland, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking and exploring the natural surroundings. The nearby township of Sussex Inlet is just a short drive away, offering local cafés, shops, restaurants and other conveniences.

*Please note* that Berrara Waters Chalets are a Private Estate and NOT a Holiday Resort. Please respect others by reducing noise levels in all outdoor areas after 10.00pm.
Upon booking we require a security deposit plus credit card details. Once the property is inspected after your departure and no issues are found your security deposit will be released into your nominated bank account via BSB and Account Number and credit card details are destroyed within two weeks.

The cleanliness of this property was a real let down. Especially in these crazy COVID times, it was quite uncomfortable to realise that the property hadn't had a proper clean between the last holiday tenants and us arriving. The bathroom (the shower in particular) was grimy, the baking trays and the bbq still with food on it, the doona covers were unclean with dried food stuck to it, toys left under the coffee table, the floors needed a vacuum, dead bugs everywhere and the glassware stained with a terrible unclean smell. The lack of cleaning products at the cabin meant that you couldn't clean the bathroom even if I tried and there really should be paper towel provided. Unfortunately it soured the experience as we loved the location. This is the third cabin we have stayed in at Berrara Waters and this particular cabin falls well short of the standard of the other two cabins. The doona covers, lounge pillows and the lounge chairs need a good clean and potentially an update just to make it a bit more comfortable to use. A lot of the facilities in this cabin unfortunately gave me the icky feeling of living in a communal space with strangers like in a backpackers, however the price does not match that of a backpackers. The price is too expensive for the quality of the cabin I feel. Beautiful spot and location, and that brought the overall rating up.
