Shady Pines was everything it was advertised to be. Clean, comfortable, and close, easy access to downtown Eureka Springs. It was a perfect 4 night stay for 4 adults and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting on the lake, hanging out on the upper deck with coffee in the morning and the lower deck for adult beverages and games in the early evening. Although everything we needed was there, Grant was very responsive to our simple little request for a missing remote. And, he brought donuts!!! We will definitely stay here again on our return visits to Eureka Springs!

Cabin was cute, the downstairs bathroom was a little crowded since you can’t even open the door all the way, anyone handicapped to a wheelchair or unable to walk would have a hard time using the bathroom. Wish the water or lake was able to be swam in or fished in. I know the water legacies of eureka springs but the kids thought they were going to get to swim and the husband thought he was gonna get to fish so they were all bummed about that. The long tall window in the living room needs a way to cover it because you can’t sit and talk to anyone or sit on the couch without being blinded by the sun. Other than those things it was great.
