Upper Alta is an inviting waterfront apartment with spectacular sea views over The Kyles of Bute and beyond. Set in the picturesque village of Tighnabruaich the holiday apartment features two bedrooms, ideal for families or couples who are looking for modern comforts, and sea views in a charming coastal location.
Interior
Warm and welcoming with a modern flair the newly refurbished apartment features a living area with comfortable sofas and large windows to take advantage of the stunning sea views. Also, from this open plan living and dining area enjoy the balcony and the ever changing vistas. Includes all your modern amenities with free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with Freeview.
The well equipped kitchen features modern appliances, including a 4 burner hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. Ideal for cooking up a feast with delicious local produce.
There are two spacious and well-furnished bedrooms. A Master double bedroom and a king bedroom that can be converted to twin beds. Please request if you require twin beds set up. The family bathroom features a bath, over bath shower and WC.
Outside
There is one designated car parking space at the side of the property, in front of our garage and further free on road parking at the end of the driveway.
Well behaved medium dogs are welcome. Maximum one only.

Set in an ideal position on the waterfront in Tighnabruaich, fabulous for walks along the esplanade to soak up the views. Just a 15 minute walk is the main street of Tighnabruaich where you will find local arts and crafts, cafes and welcoming pubs.
Argyll’s Secret Coast is rich in Highland history, dotted with ruins and and ancient sites and castles. Packed with places to visit and things to do, walkers, cyclists, sailors and artists are all drawn to this area.
Just over 4 miles away is Portavadie, the well known marina, with a leisure spa, indoor swimming pool, outdoor infinity pool, jacuzzi and 3 restaurants. Also, you can take the short ferry trip from Colintraive across to the Isle of Bute with it's historic house and gardens, Mount Stuart.

First impression was a light and airy feel to the apartment. Every room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for us to self cater in the kitchen and entertain in the sitting room with games and jigsaws for rainy days. The apartment was on the first floor with stunning views across of the Kyles of Bute and beyond, and even binoculars to look at the otter and porpoises that we spotted from the window! Walking along to Tighnabuiach village was an easy 20 mins on the flat seaside road, with access to shops, cafes and an Indian restaurant. Fyne Raja was excellent if you like Indian food. The Premier grocery shop was not so premier though and if you have a car it is worth going to the Kames Store! On Saturday we were able to stop and watch a shinty match too.
Highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Location was great for visiting the area. Views were stunning. Comfortable sofas and beds. Some dog hair left from previous guest mostly on entrance rug.
