Take a break & unwind in this A-Frame cabin, bordering 45 acres of woods with a new private extended deck. This rustic log cabin is rural & an escape from busy city living. 2.6 miles to Cave Run Lake and the National Boone Forest. Short drive to the Red River Gorge.
This is a “cabin in the woods” experience, it is not a luxury hotel or resort. A forest setting: ladybugs, birds, other tiny critters, the occasional deer, fox, raccoon, & dog can be found amongst the trees, grass & sunshine. Time spent here is unique & memorable.

Very nice place and would rent again. Easy check in process. Scenery was nice, peaceful, and accessible. Only rated 4 stars due to some minor cleaning issues. I recommend!!!!

Certainly not the most fancy place, but a good place to stay and sleep. Owner provided plenty of necessities to make the stay easier...tp, kleenex, paper towels, dishwashing soap, and shampoo were a nice convenience.There is also a Dollar General store less than a mile away if you forgot anything. Good location for the area and a quiet neighborhood.

It was ok, just not what we expected from the listing. Not lakefront at all. Top deck access locked. "New" deck was not built correctly and is unsafe. No soap in bathroom. Not on amount of acreage expected; neighbors are close by. Neighborhood dogs run off leash and will try to get in house.
