A hidden gem, the quiet fishing village of Wanchese is tucked away on the southernmost tip of Roanoke Island. While conveniently located minutes from Jennette's Pier, the Roanoke Island Aquarium, and the Elizabethan Gardens, the Village offers visitors a truly authentic Outer Banks experience. Be sure to visit one of the Seafood Markets in Wanchese or grab at hot meal from one of the local eateries.
Built in 2020 natural light pours into the 500 sq.ft. coastal studio through oversized windows creating a bright, airy atmosphere. Designed for form and function, the thoughtfully appointed studio encompasses the entire second floor of a stand alone garage. It features a full kitchen with dishwasher, full bath, and stackable washer/dryer. Additionally, a starter kit is provided to guests with dishwasher tablets, a small tide detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper in addition to a few small snacks. In the pantry you’ll find a variety of K-cups and single brew coffee machine along with a toaster.
Throughout the studio guests have access to highspeed internet, the bedroom offers guests a restful nights sleep on a queen size Serta mattress with 100% cotton linens, the living room features a smart TV(guests are responsible for logging in/out of their own apps) and a breakfast table with seating for two. The studio design makes this an ideal space for a couples getaway.
Bring your essentials and let us take care of the rest, bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels, and two beach chairs are provided for your convenience. Guests will enjoy their own driveway with off-road parking for two vehicles and access the studio by private stairs and coded keyless entry.

Everything was fantastic. The host was so nice and always letting us know if we need anything. Air-conditioning was awesome. The shops and the beaches were close by. Access to the beaches and the drive to Cape Hatteras amazing.We just had a wonderful time. Thank you so much and we will be back again next year.

We so enjoyed our stay here. It was the prefect home base for all the sightseeing we did.This place is immaculate and our host left us fresh chicken eggs from his chickens in the back yard which we thoroughly enjoyed while we were here. We named some of the chickens and loved sitting and watching them.It's very quiet and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Our host gave us access to his gym and backyard to enjoy and left us a booklet that added even more sights to our stay which we visited as well as restaurants that he recommended. We would come back here in a heartbeat!

10/10 would stay again and recommend to our friends and family. It was perfect for our family of 3. The small details like local farm fresh eggs really shows the property owner cares and truly wants you to enjoy your stay.

Best stay ever! Tyler the host is amazing. The little cottage feel of the studio was perfect. Located in a very peaceful and quiet fishing village. Tyler took care of everything we needed, checked in to find out if there was anything else that we could possibly need. The studio is cozy and truly feels like a little home away from home. The bed is super comfortable. Its the little details that matter. Tyler truly takes care of all of the little things that really matter and make youe vacation matter.
