About this house rental
The River House is a large farmhouse, that borders the scenic Juniata River, with a stone section built in the 1790s. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, swimming, campfires, and more! Watch and listen to the trains across the river as they go by. There is plenty of space to relax, but also so many things to do for those looking for entertainment. The home comes with a large 1 acre plus yard for recreation and games. The back porch is equipped with a grill to compliment the firepit. The property was beautiful and it was interesting to stay in a home with so much history. The interior had a problem with black flies in the kitchen and the upstairs bathrooms felt very dated. The location was perfect for a family wedding.
