About this cabin rental
7 miles to Ohio University, cozy and secluded cabin on private road. Renovated in 2019 our 2 bedroom cabin has 4 porches with great country views. The bedrooms are each furnished with a king size bed. Each bedroom has access to a personal porch. To access the bedrooms guests must walk up steep stairs. We offer wifi internet and a smart TV for entertainment, bluetooth speaker, preloaded super Nintendo also provided. The cabin has a washer and dryer, a fairly well equipped kitchen and a 3 piece bathroom with shower. The yard is great for star gazing and has a firepit, wood provided upon request. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. We clean like crazy and spray regularly but the cabin has been in the woods for 30 plus years. I promise you will see ladybugs, stinkbugs, maybe a wasp, or anything else that is in nature..

Cozy cabin in the woods where we enjoyed a beautiful clear sky night with excellent star gazing. Owners were great communicators, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the decks. Close enough to town to get there quickly, but away from that hustle and bustle.Thank you!Erin and Scott

The cabin inside and out needs maintenance and repairs. Bathroom floor is soft and a little scarey that might step through the floor as you go in the bathroom in front of sink which is also causing issues with the levelness of the door jam to close the door. The couch in living room is broken, usable and not bad for comfort, but none the less, watch where you sit on the end as it will poke you. Black tape to cover the hole where a dead bolt lock should be on the entry door. Roof outside looks to need repairs along top in front of cabin. Lots of weeds and such have over grown up next to cabin and around and coming up between the deck boards. Bedroom at top of stairs to the left appeared to have ceiling damage that was just painted over. Plus there were critters that we could hear in ceiling and walls when in living room. Host was fine and communicative, just the cabin itself needs some TLC. If I am paying to stay there on vacation, use that money for repairs and maintenance if want future customers.
