About this house rental
Ready for the country life?... After a hike on the Appalachian Trail, a float down the Shenandoah River, or just a lazy day around the house, kick off your shoes and enjoy the beautiful view with some sweet tea on the porch, or a soak in the clawfoot tub. Dine downtown on Main St., or grill dinner from your garden to table at home (in season). The country life is soo relaxing or adventurous, depending on the day. Don't forget the Caverns, the shops on Main Street, and of course, a campfire under the bright beautiful stars. It's all here, waiting for you. At the Farmhouse, you'll feel like a local.

Amazing house and location! Top 5% we have stayed in. Small touches, authentic feel, Minnie circulating outside along with the ducks, rabbits, and cows heard in the distance. Luray just down the road with fun shops, thrifting, coffee. Best was 45min access to Shenandoah trails that gave million mile views and challenges that create memories. Thanks to Lisa for creating this mountain farmhouse!

Great house for a family! Kitchen was well stocked, loved the outdoor porches and the firepit. Quiet area, comfortable beds, beautiful views of the countryside. Great location just outside of the town of Luray.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming farmhouse. Lisa was top-notch-welcoming, responsive and thoughtful throughout our visit. The farmhouse was beautifully decorated, combining historic charm with comfort and warmth. Every room was spotless and well cared for. The kitchen was full stocked with everything we needed, making meals easy and enjoyable.One of the best parts of the stay was waking up to the stunning mountain views each morning. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would absolutely stay here again!

From the moment we pulled into the Farmhouse at the Grove, we were thrilled to be here. Our purpose of the trip was to celebrate my birthday with my kids and grandkids and visit Luray Caverns, which is only a very short drive from the house, along with other attractions. Perfect location!My entire family loved the house - which has never happened on previous trips. The house was immaculate, and I am a clean freak! The furnishings and little faith reminders were so beautiful. There was lots of room for our family of 8 adults and 4 small grandchildren. Every possible amenity you could think of is there. And the beautiful stone fireplace in the kitchen was where we spent a lot of time when indoors. Mountain Views from the windows and outside are breathtaking. Our favorite was the beautiful property surrounding the home. My grandchildren (and us) fell in love with the ducks, bunnies and Minnie the farm cat. The owner, Lisa, came every morning to let the children help find eggs and feed the ducks and bunnies. She was so kind and so attentive. I felt like I’d known her all my life. We spent so much time outside running, playing with the outdoor toys provided and sitting around the fire pit. We have never had such a fun, peaceful, memorable time together. I could write on and on about the Farmhouse, but I will end by saying this is a lovely home in every way. Thank you, Lisa for your hospitality. We are all missing Minnie :(
