Steve is an amazing host! His home was cozy didn’t have that closed up abandoned feel walking in. Loved all the large windows for natural lighting!! Very homey and welcoming! We had so much planned in town that we weren’t able to really spend time at the house but it felt very safe coming home to late and spacious enough that we weren’t bumping into each other getting ready! I’ve rented a ton of places from VRBO and this is the first time I believe I talked with the host regularly leading up to the trip and on the way out. I would recommend this cabin to anyone for any time of year! It has the creek for the spring and summer and the fire place and hot tub for the fall and winter! We are already planning our trip back with our kids !

Two families enjoyed the beautiful cabin. Communication with the owner was excellent. Plenty of room to relax! We enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading or swinging. We enjoyed game nights at the kitchen table. Home is well equipped. Everybody agreed beds were comfortable. Lots of deer in the neighborhood. Good location for access to hiking and nearby kayaking, yet close enough to town to enjoy restaurants and shops. Be prepared for entry into the neighborhood, one lane narrow road and thankfully we never had to try to pass a car going the opposite direction. Steep gravel hill before the driveway that became a comical game to see if our 11 year old minivan would make it to the top, followed by a downhill paved driveway to the cabin. We would enjoy returning to the cabin.

Everything was amazing. The cabin is beautiful. The surroundings are gorgeous. The communication was great. Steve and Deb are the best ever.!I highly recommend this beautiful place. The selfish part of me doesn’t wanna share it with anybody cause it’s so magical.!!! My only suggestion would be to come stock with plenty of food because you’re not gonna wanna come down off the mountain!
