Lovely oasis of calm. Great grounds beatifully kept. We stayed in late May and everything was in bloom. Fanastic pool and bbq area.It is an old house full of character. Owner lives on site and is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A good base to visit Pompei etc and Pasteum and Trentinara to the south. Good for Solano to visit Amalfi coast by ferry. Entry to house grounds by electronic gate. Felt very secure.VRBO lists it as rural which is technically correct, but the house is in an area of agricultural land. However, once inside the grounds this is unimportant as the benefits of the house, garden and pool far outweigh this. We had a great holiday and would go again.

Amazing place to stay!! Rustic, beautiful and authentic. The pool is amazing. We used our car hire to go to Amalfi, Ercolano, Versuvius, Naples and Battipaglia town. The combination of the quiet of the villa and the buzz of the towns was perfect for use. Thanks Ida!

We stayed in the appartment on the 2nd floor. It has 3 double bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It is a little outdated, but everything is clean and works. The owner (senior lady) lives on the 1st floor but is almost not present so you experience it as if you have the grounds to yourself. The garden and pool are in excellent state. Very nice to be around and in.We enjoyed our stay very much.
