About this house rental
This newly remodeled home is located directly on Double Bay Beach, a spectacular 2 1/2 mile beach protected by a barrier reef. Wish House sit on a three-acre estate lot with total privacy. This home features three bedrooms each with a beautiful en-suite bath featuring walk-in showers with rainheads. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. Wish House has a large patio overlooking the beach and the ocean, and a cabana on the beach. A very private vacation experience on a beautiful private beach in the renowned Double Bay area.
Please note the third bedroom is on the lower level of the house, and is not accessed directly from inside the main house.
Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is just 15 minutes by car from the property. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won't want to miss it. The town of Palmetto Point, less than 10 minutes from the house, has several smaller stores and a good restaurant. There is a good grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters, just five minutes from the house.
Amenities include, outdoor shower, AC throughout- provided by central air system on the main level, high speed internet, Smart TV, beach chairs, gas grill, and a backup generator and solar.

This house was absolutely amazing and truly exceeded all of our expectations. The home is directly on the beach, and waking up to the sound of the ocean and uninterrupted beachfront views was incredible. The setting is very private and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and fully unwind.
The house itself is beautiful, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable, and every space felt welcoming and cozy while still being spacious. Starlink internet was fast and reliable, which was a great bonus. Overall, this was an exceptional stay in a stunning beachfront home, and we would absolutely return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Just returned from a wonderful 7-day trip with my family, and it was everything we hoped for and more!
The home was absolutely beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. But the real showstopper—the breathtaking beach views right from the house!
The beach itself was stunning—clean, peaceful, and most days we had it entirely to ourselves. If you're looking for the perfect spot to relax and unwind, this is the place. Highly recommend!

This was probably the best beach house that we have ever booked. And it was located on a gorgeous beach.The house was exactly as shown, well-equipped and carefully maintained. The property was spotless and nicely landscaped. The owner was communicative and attentive. Eleuthera is a wonderful destination, and the house was located close to the commercial hub of Governor's Harbour. Varied places to eat and drink, decent shopping. The locals are so welcoming!The recommended snorkeling destinations on Eleuthera are a distance from the house (it's a very long and narrow island), and there are only a couple of nature preserves to visit nearby. But the wonderful time spent on the beach and in the water more than make up for that.
