About this cottage rental
Vacation on our 600 acre horse and cattle farm and stay in our Pond House, on the shore of one of the most beautiful ponds you can imagine. Children and adults enjoy fishing, hiking the woodland trails, watching the constant activities of nature around the pond, watching the horses and cattle, and horseback riding with our neighbors at Oakland Heights.
During hot weather, enjoy the free swimming hole in our creek. Reserve a time (90 minutes) at our Party Patio to enjoy its Hot Tub, corn hole and other games, and its additional firepit. Bring your bathing suits.
The Pond House has two bedrooms (one queen, one bunk bed with double bed on bottom), plus a den with queen-sized pull-out couch. It is professionally decorated and altogether charming.
The best feature, however, is the screened back deck overlooking the gorgeous pond.
Also see our Milker's Cottage (vrbo #766635), Manor House (vrbo #90926), Barn Apartment (vrbo#1047051) and Servants' Cottage (vrbo #442721). These are all on the same farm. The Milker's cottage is similar in size and price to the Pond House, so if the Pond House shows unavailable, please be sure to check the Milker's Cottage.

.. Great for a wedding weekend in Charlottesville, which was 40 mins away. unreal horse farm (and other animals) location with beautiful views all around. Loved the easy check-in process with a simple lock box containing the key. Lots of antique/gift shops in nearby Gordonsville main street. :)

As always, the Pond House has been one of our favorite places to visit over the last several years. It is cozy, clean and calming. We look forward to it every time.
