The house is super comfortable and the interiors are beautifully curated with stunning views. We struggled a little with the heat wave so used the blinds early to keep heat down but a rare problem to have in UK We highly recommend little walk to Old Castle Lachlan near inver, which is on a B road nearby; and the Oystercatcher at otter ferry a bit further on. The nearest shop is 3.5 miles but well stocked Newton is lovely and peaceful and friendly community Had some concerns re the building site next door on arrival but they were considerate with noise and only there at the weekend so a non issue.

This was our second visit to An Airigh this year and it was just as relaxing and comfortable as the first. If you have a very stressful life, this is the place to rest and recuperate. We didn’t watch tv or any news all week, went off grid almost for total relaxation. (I didn’t even feel tempted to watch strictly!) Lunch at the oystercatcher was lovely and food at Inver is sublime. Fantastic dog walks, lovely friendly local people and of course the view from this fabulous cottage is captivating. Can’t wait to book another stay for next year.

Beautiful location for visiting surrounding areas. Cosy and warm. Comfortable bed and bedding. There is a small well stocked shop nearby and a good local pub within a 10 minute drive. We had an issue regarding a ferry to Islay and Amanda was very empathetic and helpful in assisting us. It was much appreciated.
