In general, the place was clean and description depicted what we got. We did, however, have some complaints. The dishes in the house were pretty dirty. We had to hand wash everything we used prior using it. We would’ve used the dishwasher on day 1, but we didn’t have any dishwasher detergent. We had to buy our own bag of tabs to use during the week. Also, there weren’t any extra garbage bags and the outdoor trash can was completely full when we checked in. This resulted in garbage piling up until we could get the outside garbage dumped. For this stay we had to buy paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher tabs and garbage bags. In all my years of using VRBO…I have never encountered this. Lastly, there weren’t any beach towels for our use. What kind of beach house isn’t equipped with beach towels. We had to buy those for ourselves as well. Communication with the rental agency in general was very good. The only issue we had is that they didn’t pull the second payment as they should’ve. This resulted in me receiving a threatening text about half way through our trip stating they were going to cut our trip short if I didn’t pay right away. I didn’t even know I owed money as this wasn’t communicated to me. I’m happy we went and the house was quite nice for my family, but I wish we wouldn’t have experienced any of the things I listed above. I know this company wanted a 5-star review, but I feel generous giving a 4 considering the complaints we had.

The house location was great and near lots of things so that’s a plus. The overall condition of the house wasn’t that great. It wasn’t very clean to start. The middle shower was disgusting and had several clumps of hair in it. The master shower was clogged and not draining well. However they did come and take care of it. Then the garage door stop working so we weren’t able to use it for parking and there’s no street parking at all. They provided an alternative, it just wasn’t extremely convenient.The HOA also seems to have an issue with people of color using the pool even with the bands. We were harassed by several people to the point we only used it once during our whole stay. We still had a good time because we adapted but I’d never rent this property again. The mgmt company was pretty nice with responding to the issues but that’s just too much for one stay
