In low season, we also host a variety of traveling professionals and snowbirds! We will not be renting from High Tide realty with Liv Hood again. Our experience was not the best. The unit on arrival was not very clean and when we reached out to her about it she was no help. I communicated with her through VRBO since that was how we booked the unit and her response times were very slow. She stated that she doesn’t receive notifications when people message her through VRBO, which is not true. I was receiving notifications when she messaged be back through VRBO through my email. Liv was also very adamant that we text her private number. I’m assuming so VRBO didn’t have documentation of the issues. The unit wasn’t cleaned properly, kitchen towels were stained and looked dirty, we saw more than a couple bugs and when I messaged her about it she pretty much blew it off saying that she had time stamped pictures of the unit being cleaned. There was also nothing to hand wash dishes with no dish rag, sponge etc.The cold water in the hall bath upstairs didn’t work. I messaged her about it and she did send someone to fix it pretty fast. Maintenance said that it has done this before and has been an ongoing problem. So I feel like this should have been taken care of when the “cleaners” were cleaning and noticed it wasn’t working, before we even checked in.Portside Resort property was very nice and we would stay at Portside again, just with a different property management.
