Varos or Veli Varos is one of the oldest parts of Split, once inhabited only by farmers and fishermen. It is known for its farmers stone houses, with small and narrow streets—a testament to the poor and hard life of the past.
The apartment is located in the pedestrian zone, in the city center, but very close to the public parking in Plinarska ulica street (two minutes walk).

This lovely apartment is in a great location to explore Old Town Split. It has been beautifully renovated with thoughtful touches. This home was an unusual find with three bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a private large outdoor space. Our group of three couples enjoyed exploring Split and the surrounding area during the day and relaxing in the apartment in the evenings. Karla was a wonderful host and very responsive from booking through checkout. Her husband Stefan provided limousine service from the airport at a fair price which made our trip so much easier. Karla met us at the apartment to show us around and answer any questions about the apartment or the area. Everything was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils needed to prepare simple meals. If you’re considering this VRBO, do not hesitate to book quickly before someone else snatches it up.

The property was just as advertised and very quaint and clean. The location was perfect for our stay with a 5 minute walk to all the action in Split.

Karla is a fantastic host and has a beautiful and comfortable apartment. 6 adults fit comfortably and location couldn’t be better. The welcome treats were unexpected but so appreciated. Thank you Karla for having us.
