We vacationed for a week at the terrapin house. It was very close to the beach. We could see the ocean from our location and watched the ships sailed by in the morning. We loved that we had minimal traffic on our street since it was a dead end street. It was close to all of the activities that my family wanted to do. The only thing that I would change about this house was that the pool wasn’t heated so we had to strategically use the pool on only peak hot days and that it was smaller than expected. Also, one of the bedrooms had sand on the bedsheets which felt like maybe the sheets weren’t changed. The handles for the toilet paper holders in the bathrooms were very loose and kept falling off. Make sure you bring all of your spices because they did not provide that. This kitchen had all of the utensils, cooking pots, and skillets that we needed for the week. We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very spacious and had many outdoor decks and balconies to choose from. We made a lot of memories and liked our stay in Nags Head.
