In place of Victorian architecture and antiques, you'll find rooms in what once were chicken coops and feed silos at the Old Chicken Farm Art Center. There are themed rooms such as the Santa Fe, Country French and Ponderosa rooms in the old coop. Outside, you can get a firsthand look at artists at work or relax in one of the many shady nooks and crannies on the property, including a sculpture-laden courtyard and a covered patio.

The host and the venue were great. I was disappointed at the excessive religious icons placed throughout the room. Why do people feel they need to force their religion on others? For the mobility impaired, there are a lot of steps, but for most that is simple enough to ask for a room without steps going to the bathroom, etc.

Had a nice stay. I choose the location so we could visit the artist vendors. Unfortunately only one was open. Her artwork was inspirational to me, an artist myself. Looks like we will have to come back to explore.
