It’s a unique and quaint location. I was only driving past but I wish I could have stayed longer.
I loved the layout and that every room is different. The inn keeper was so welcoming and generous with her time. She explained the history and showed me a few other rooms.

It was a comfortable room, straight out of grandma’s house including the cross stitch art. Loved it.
The room was not spotless, a few corners needed cleaning. Not terrible but just needed a spring cleaning.

This property is so cute! I loved all the art work around the property, and all the little friendly kitties!!
I wish the studios were open a little more often, and all of the studios were open. Our door was also walked in on twice with someone thinking it was a studio. That was slightly awkward and uncomfortable during an afternoon nap!

Not your ordinary hotel. This is a very eclectic hotel in a old chicken farm that has been resurrected into a artist colony. The rooms are very nice and clean. It was over 90 degrees when I stayed so I did not have a chance to fully enjoy all of the art that the Art Center had to offer. When in the area again, I will be a repeat customer.
Check-in was quirky. One of their staff met me and directed me to the room.

Room was great. Shower was wonderful. Parked in front of my room. Breakfast room available 24hrs a day. Stocked with everything needed. Owners very nice snd helpful. Always available. Nice little artist shops on property. Definitely Would stay again

Justin and Chassidy were so welcoming. Very nice. Really a great place. Rooms were so homey. Loved the drinks and snacks available.
Absolutely, don't judge the book by its cover. I wasn't sure what I had rented but boy were we surprised.
Didn't get to fully enjoy the area. It was a quick trip. Plus it rained hard

The room was nicely appointed and the shower was awesome.
It was not at all what I expected. The place is pretty large, but there are only 3 rooms for the Inn, the art community at the Art Center was absent and the restaurant inside the campus doesn’t open until sometime in April. The ‘art’ is more than a bit on the weird side (or ‘eclectic’ to be artsy about it), and being mostly deserted, the place was somewhat creepy. The room was OK, but the ‘breakfast’ was serve-yourself frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, pre-packaged fruit cups, and the microwave was broken. We ate at IHOP, about 5 miles away. Also, they had a Roku TV, but no WiFi, so to watch TV I had to use my phone as a hotspot, i.e. using my data allotment to watch TV in a room I paid for.

The Inn was so cute and comfortable! Everything you need and was very clean! Our host was very nice as well and met us when we arrived. Loved this place! We will stay again!

Absolutely fell in love with the place! Very romantic and unique hôtel, only 4 rooms with a common kitchen with everything you need for breakfast or cooking. Great artists in résidence. Friendly and helpful host. Very comfy. Extremely relaxing. Not far from historic Downtown by car.

No breakfast. Drinks and a few instant, self-serve items available.
The buildings are very run down and in ill repair. Some interesting artwork but mostly everything just felt old and run down and poorly repaired. It also didn’t feel very secure with flimsy doors and locks. It wasn’t horrible, just not what wed ever expect for, literally, the most expensive place in town.

Outstay was Cozy, clean, convenient. the staff were super friendly & Gabriel the Chef of Una made it extra wonderful for us!!
our room was hot the first night & the a/c unit didn’t work. but it got colder after that day so it was fine.

all the art was amazing. very relaxing atmosphere. loved all the art kitties. Kyle was managing the property and he was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. He was amazing.

This place is a hidden gem in San Angelo. We loved the size of the suite and the privacy from it's design. My girls compared it to an apartment. They enjoyed the stocked fridge of drinks and snacks. It was well worth the price!!! We will be back!

It was a Monday and none of the art building were open which I understand. We will come back again during the week when there are more activities.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and really nice. This place truly is a hidden gem right in San Angelo. I never knew about this place even being a San Angelo native, but I sure am glad I found it. Highly recommend this place.
The price was a little high, but honestly well worth the money still.

This beautiful property has everything. A restaurant next door, a comfortable and spacious room, access to a tiny kitchen very well stocked with breakfast and snacks and studios. Not everything was open while we were there because we stayed midweek. The host was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely rebook for a weekend so we can enjoy the art.

The Ponderosa rooms are a work of art! The Art Center at the Chicken Ranch is creative, fun, and quirky... perfect for us! Susan and Jerry are warm, welcoming, and accommodating. I've found my new obsession... Roger Allen's pottery and clay legacy!
I wish we had landed here when there was an event... live music and wine garden would be icing on the cake! I guess we just have to go back!?!

Fun place. Communal Kitchen. Prepared my own breakfast, which was fine. Fresh eggs were a treat. Excellent coffee and cream. Good experience. LOTS of art, artists, shops surround the facility.
