About this house rental
Our newly remodeled home in Talking Rock Creek Resort features a large living area, beautiful views of the woods, spacious kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms and two baths. The deck is a beautiful place to enjoy the woods and quiet surroundings. Pets (dogs only please) are welcome! Talking Rock Creek Resort features a number of amenities including swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, hiking trails, a stocked lake and creek fishing. The home is not far from some of North Georgia's best small towns, sightseeing, shopping and outdoor adventures, and is very close to Carter's Lake. Plan a vacation with a perfect combination of fun and relaxation!

Beautiful home & property! We enjoyed going to the Gym & walking a nearby trail! It was spotless & had more than enough of everything to make our stay stress free & enjoyable!

It’s understandable that sometimes hiccups happen, but this property is definitely managed ethically and professionally. They made it right!
When we checked in, there was a housekeeping issue (their fault) and an accessibility issue (my fault). The accessibility issue prevented my grandfather from being able to enter and exit the property easily. There are some steps leading down to the front door that weren’t shown clearly in the photographs and I didn’t think to message the property owner in advance to ask about that.
The housekeeping issue was a result of a mixup with a newly contracted cleaning company.
I spoke with the property manager and he showed genuine care and concern. He was apologetic and accommodating on both counts. He gave me several options as remedy and we were able to get everything sorted out so we could enjoy the rest of our trip.
The property is set back down a winding mountain road and the view driving up and down has several great spots to get a peek of a “vista” view of mountain scenery through the trees.
The parking area will accommodate 2-4 cars depending on the size of your vehicles and how you park. The parking area is level and graveled with room to make a 3 point turn. (If it’s the only car)
From the parking area you follow about 6 wooden rail tie steps down to the front stoop.
The front door/checkin is accessible via entry code and as soon as you come in you’re in the living room where there is a notebook about the property amenities and local attractions and events.
To the left is a hallway with a bathroom on one side, the smallest bedroom on the other, and the master bed and bath at the end. The third bedroom which has all the windows around it, adjoins the master bedroom. The wall between the rooms shares a window and a door and in terms of distance, the beds are rather close. If two couples are staying in those two rooms, I can imagine you would want to limit any “recreational” noise.
We didn’t cook any meals while there so I can’t speak to how the kitchen is appointed. I did notice there was ample storage space for groceries and there was a coffee maker and large fridge/freezer. There was also a laundry closet with a washer & dryer.
Property is pet friendly and my son enjoyed running about and exploring the forested area in the back of the property.

Had a great time on the property. House is beautiful. They supply everything you could need on a vacation. It was fully stocked and cleaner than my own house. For being in the woods there weren’t any bugs or anything in the house. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for us and the kids. The host is amazing and answered us within 5 mins every time.
