Located 1.6 miles off of paved road on a gravel drive. 4 Wheel drive Recommended and REQUIRED in certain months of the year! Cabin and grounds are amazing and so worth the trip! Escape Reality in this Beautiful Cozy Creekside Cabin on 1.5 acres! 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bath with a Sleeping Loft. Perfect for a family retreat of up to 6 people or even a solo trip! Talking Rock Creek is right outside your doors! Come to fish, hang out by the fire pit or even sit on the side of the creek and tan! Bring the Groceries and your favorite drinks, some fishing poles and a beach towel or chair and enjoy nature and each others company, without ever having to leave the woods! This amazing cabin is perfect for a weekend adventure! Whatever the adventure, you will be glad you found our cabin and will look forward to returning soon. Get ready to experience the majesty of North Georgia at this luxurious cabin in the woods. Cabin does come with Satellite TV but we do NOT have Internet service! So Unplug and Unwind!! Secluded but still only 30 minutes to 1 hour from: Jasper, (Pickens County) GA: host to MARBLE FESTIVAL ( 30/40 minutes)- 1st weekend of October and also many shops and boutiques. Ellijay (Gilmer County) GA, the Apple Capital of GA. Ellijay also hosts the APPLE FESTIVAL each October (2 weekends) ( 1 HOUR DRIVE) and many apple houses to pick your own apples! A little farther you have: Amicalola Falls - Blue Ridge, GA - Dawsonville, GA - Dahlonega, GA - Calhoun, GA. Each have their own attractions to see or do. Antique shops, local Boutiques, fabulous Restaurants and Wineries all around!!

Its was a great week, very secluded, you really do need 4 wheel drive once you go to gravel. They had several table games and bean bag toss to play.

The cabin has great views and sitting beside the creek was very relaxing. The road to the cabin does get bumpy in spots.

This cabin was perfect for our annual Labor Day getaway with our friends and pups. It was great to be away from town. We enjoyed relaxing by the creek. Chrissy was a great host and was quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Takes a hot minute to acclimate to the terrain when your are from the South. Definitely no cars unless you are looking to bottom out, but once at the property it's heavenly. Bring EVERYTHING... towels, wash cloths, dish towels, k-cups, coffee. Watch shortcuts on maps thru the gated neighborhood down the road, cant back thru if you catch the gate open. Deer and turkeys galore, the babbling creek was literally tubing in your own backyard. BRING Water Tennis Shoes!

First and foremost, we will likely be back again. We are avid VRBO’ers and travel 4x a year. The description of property is accurate – no WIFI and cell service is questionable. Verizon = 1 bar or none.
My wife and I have stressful job and are always looking to get away from the hussle and bussle. This place forces you to turn it off. My wife and I were able to relax. We spent most of our days on the sandy beach area where the dogs would play in the water for hours. There is a hose on the front porch where you can easily wash your dogs before re-entering the cabin. We would wash them and let them sit on porch to dry. Sun comes out at 10 and stays on beach till about 5. We brought tubes and floated in the current and deep pockets. I’d wake up early and go fishing – caught a few bass and enjoyed the peace and quiet. This place is remote.
The cabin was clean, and the kitchen has everything you needed. We read the reviews beforehand and stopped by ingles on the way in and brought plenty of food. Town is about 35 mins. We did run out of propane but were able to spark a fire with the ample wood available. We ended up cooking all our meals over a wood fire. It was nice having firewood available and flavor was amazing.
4 Wheel drive is not needed, but it was a nice safety net when it rained. Chevy Tahoe

This property is beautiful! It’s very secluded and private. Although cozy the cabin has plenty of space. The best part of the property is the creek. The cabin was very clean and had everything you might need while cooking. I would like to visit in every season. I definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful, remote, and peaceful location. Can't wait to come again, maybe in the spring or summer this time. Loved the Christmas tree for an added holiday ambience!

This was our second time to Creekside Cabin and we just love it. Room for everyone, including our pets! The creek is just great, shallow and deep water, natural rock slide, small sandy beach area. Driveway is steep and we did need 4WD after a rain. Also bring all your supplies although there is a Kroger about 30 min away.

Perfect Isolation
The house is immaculate. Appliances were super, the creek and beach were perfect. I've never seen more turkeys. The owners are ideal.

Wonderful getaway. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the talking creek rocks. The owners description was accurate and we took almost everything we needed.

42 anniversary trip
More than we could have hoped for… Didn’t need Tv are WiFi just great time listening and looking at the view . The peace this place gives you back is a great recharge we need in today’s life.we are looking to bring kids and grandkids back .

This cabin was cozy enough for the four of us. The fire pit was great to sit at while listening to talking creek. Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. Definitely a wonderful getaway!

No again
To begin with the location that VRBO told it was that was not even close to where it was at, second the road was terrible even with a four-wheel-drive you play hell trying to get in and out, we cut our vacation a day short being it was supposed to freeze Saturday night and I didn’t want to drive on wet leaves on a concrete road at a 90° angle and not be able to get out. If you can’t do stairs don’t stay here as stairs are very steep. Dogs were all over the area running free so we could not let ours out.

Cozy and darling cabin. Owner very responsive and helpful. If you want to be off the beaten path, it’s a great place to stay. Not an easy in/out location.

We all love the place. Had a great time. The only thing I didn’t like that when we got there. We were trying to grill something and there was no gas to use the grill. I think they should focus more on the part. To make sure everyone has all they needs.

Great cabin right on the river with a nice little beachy area providing shallow water access to the river. A great big yard with an outdoor firepit and a beautiful cabin. Very private location at the end of a beautiful gravel road through the woods.

We all love the place. Had a great time. The only thing I didn’t like that when we got there. We were trying to grill something and there was no gas to use the grill. I think they should focus more on the part. To make sure everyone has all they needs.

Cabin and location are exactly as described in description and as shown in the photos. I was a little worried to rent the cabin due to the owners allowing dogs. I have a really bad allergy to most dogs. I never had any issues and did not see one piece of dog fur anywhere. I brought my cleaning products and planned to just go over things when we arrived. I never had to touch anything! It was immaculate inside. The washer and dryer were SO VERY nice to have on site. The kids tubed down the river everyday, we were able to fish. My husband and I both caught a HUGE bass. We were able to cook the fish over the fire. Most of our meals were prepared on the firepit. Our daughter fell in love with the goose that comes and visits everyday, she named it Clancy. We were able to see river otters, turtles, herons, deer, giant snappers and snakes. We also did some hiking back in the mountain, beautiful views. Spent some time in Talking Rock visiting the lovely park they have along with some antique shops. We found a few nice souvenirs and gifts for friends. In summary, for our family the river was more than enough to keep all of us entertained the entire week.

Beautiful Talking Rock Creek Cabin
Great cabin that is very clean and equipped with everything you need. . It rained almost the whole time we were there, but we sat on the awesome porches, listening to the creek, and read our books. We can’t wait to go back again!

The cabin was very nice and we really enjoyed every day sitting outside listening to the creek. There was even a little sand beach in front of the creek for sunbathing.
On our last day, there was a heavy rain the night before and the creek rose and flooded the beach, so not sure if it's still there. The water was receding the day we left, so hopefully it's back!
We had a perfect stay and really hated to leave!

We had a blast at your beautiful cabin! The creek was absolutely perfect for our kids and fur babies. They played for hours! Everything was wonderful and communicating with the owners was very easy! Great People and a Great Place!! :) We will absolutely be coming back!

We stayed over Easter Holiday . The Cabin is absolutely perfect in every way . We didn’t want everyone with their nose in a phone Facebooking or playing games etc so no Wifi was just fine with us. We played UNO and Candy land at night and the TV channels were great for a movie or news.
This Cabin is clean clean clean well stocked and the creek was just beautiful and relaxing. There is a sandbar so the kids could wade out and swim safely .
I keep hearing mention of the dogs next door they were friendly, cute as can be, and we loved having them visit. They came by smiling and happy to greet us and left after their hello. They did not bark, beg, or bother us .
We roaster marshmallows in the fire pit and watched the sun rise and fall everyday.
I would recommend getting there in Daylight for ease in locating the cabin but GPS to house nearby helps a lot. The Road is gravel little bumpy but not a problem. We were there after a big rain event and access was fine.
