About this apartment rental
Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain-top VRBO. The cabin is located in a stunning setting with breathtaking surroundings and other homes nearby, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.The rental is a basement unit, with the homeowners living upstairs. While you can occasionally hear footsteps and piano playing, the family was very respectful and made every effort to keep noise to a minimum during our stay. The fan in the master bedroom also helped muffle most of the upstairs sounds, especially during naps.The basement is beautifully constructed, spacious, and very comfortable. Having a washer and dryer available was a great convenience, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We arrived late after a long day of travel and were exhausted. We had forgotten to stop and buy creamer for our morning coffee, so finding a box of creamer in the refrigerator was a thoughtful surprise and greatly appreciated.Overall, this was a comfortable, well-appointed place to stay in a gorgeous mountain setting. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Located up on the hills w/i 15 minute drive from downtown anchorage in a very quiet neighborhood, this i a terrific property for the two of us. We could have had 2 more in our parry but we could have had 4 more.
The propery owner had thought about everything the guests might need and provided them. To us, it was like being at home.
We used the washer and dryer, the coffee makers, the full size fridge and the stove top. There were many more amenities that we didn't even use.
This property is missing nothing. It even has backyard woth sandbox for children.
It is totally top notch.

The "apartment" in this log home is a very nice, clean and wonderful place to overnight (or stay a while). Suzi is a very communicative host and very concerned about providing a nice stay.
