About this bed and breakfast
Renovated light-filled two bedroom historic cottage in a lovely quiet uptown residential neighborhood. New furnishings, bedding, kitchen appliances and supplies. This is your NOLA home away from home. Located three blocks from the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar, five blocks from Freret Street restaurant row, five miles from the French Quarter, and a mile from Tulane and Loyola.
THE SPACE:
The cottage was once the horse stables for a nearby plantation. We lovingly renovated it into a two bedroom apartment in 2017. It's located behind our home, and is accessed through a private gated entrance and an 80 foot long landscaped pathway to the front door. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and private entrance, its perfect for long term guests and is kid friendly.

Excellent location-a short walk to the St Charles trolley line in a beautiful neighborhood. The property has been set up to allow guests easy access and complete privacy (the jasmine on the fence smelled wonderful!). We had everything we needed for our stay. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a VRBO with such attention to detail for the comfort of the guests. Jenny was a great host and very responsive. We had such a great time!

Jenny is a great communicator. Her place was a beautiful, comfortable home for our nine day stay with our adult daughter and her partner. It is very close to the streetcar and there are also shops and restaurants within walking distance. It has the perfect combination of access to the city and neighborhood feel.
