This comfortable & quiet apartment is located in a stone building in a very family oriented area. The district is close to Montparnasse, not far from the Luxembourg garden and saint Germain (2 subway stations).
One can find butcher shops, fish shop, wine merchant, bakery, cheese shop...everything needed to prepare nice homemade meals very close by !

This 65m² apartment is set up for 2 couples or a family of 4. It is on the third floor (no elevator) of a stone building and is very calm as it gives on 2 private courtyards.

The apt entrance door gives on a corridor with the kitchen and dining area on the left. The living room and the bedroom are located on the right. All areas are covered with a nice wooden floored except the ceramic tiled kitchen and bathroom. There are windows on both sides, the apt is very bright.

• Living room offers a lounge area and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs. It bathes in natural light and has a fire place (not for use). For the night the living room can be converted into a second bedroom. The sofa opens up into a comfortable bed for two. As seen in the photos, the door of the living room can be closed, thus providing complete privacy.

• The master bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, a writing table and chair, and a wardrobe.

• Kitchen is in a separate room that opens into the dining room. the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and it offers a window that provides natural light. The dining area has a wooden table and can easily accommodate 4 persons.

• The windows in the apartment overlook a private courtyard and provide natural light. Wooden floors give a warm feeling to those spacious and cosy bedrooms.

• Although not wide, bathroom offers a shower and sink. Toilets are separate (but inside the apt).

Location is very well served by transport making it very practical to discover the city.

This one-bedroom apartment is spacious and very well located, steps away from both the metro and a lovely street full of shops and restaurants. We found it to be the ideal location for exploring Paris but also getting away from the crowds. Because it faces two inner courtyards, it is very quiet. It has large windows and is bright and homey. It is a third floor walk-up, so you have to be able to do steps. The kitchen is basic but fine for cooking meals. There were some sugar ants, so we had to be very careful about cleaning up after ourselves and not leaving food out. We appreciated having the toilet in a separate little room from the shower and sink. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating. It felt big for only two people and is ideal for 3 or 4 - the living room is really its own room, so there is ample privacy for two couples. We were there during a heat wave. There is no air conditioning, but the apartment stayed relatively cool, with high ceilings and cross-ventilation.

The home was very clean and well organized. The house had a large amount of space and good layout. Location was steps away from the metro and a block away from a lovely open air market, restaurants, and several parks.

The location was perfect, steps away from the Metro (about 20 minutes to Notre Dame) and many restaurants. Apartment was clean and well kept and it was nice to have a dining room as our living room was used as a second bedroom by utilizing the pull out couch. It was also nice to have a cross breeze as the apartment had windows on both sides.

First the good: lots of art and books with good flea market antiques; very easy to get to from CDG train; great communication; clean linens and good towels; clean appliances and clean furnishings. As others said, great market street and grocery very close. The bad: they mention the stairs but it’s 3 floors of a very narrow spiral staircase, with steps more narrow than a foot or a suitcase; the floors and doorknobs are very old and unbelievably noisy - no way you can not wake others if you walk anywhere in the apartment; the shower is about 28 inches square of which 6 inches is taken by the shower controls; and the baseboard woodwork and doors are chipped and crusted with probably centuries of dirt. They clearly are trying to discourage cooking - pots and pans are filthy and no cooking knives - I cut a sausage with my pen knife. Nowhere to hang dresses - closet is 2 shelves with bars. I’ve stayed in maybe 10 apartments and this was by far the worst. I can’t explain all the 10 star reviews. The floor alone would have merited 3 stars from me. They send a letter after you book telling you to be “Parisian” meaning “quiet” but with those floors even without shoes there’s no way to be quiet.
