Nice Apartment Ruined by Unprofessional, Unresponsive Management

While the physical apartment itself is nice and comfortable, the management of this property was deeply disappointing and entirely unprofessional. The advertised Wi-Fi was non-functional for the entirety of my 5-day stay. Because I work remotely, an internet connection is a critical necessity, not a luxury. I was forced out-of-pocket to buy a $50 USD cellular data pass just to maintain my livelihood. The true issue, however, was the host’s appalling lack of communication and accountability. After initially promising to fix the internet the next day, the property manager completely abandoned the situation. They ignored my direct messages, ignored outreach from Booking.com, and blatantly ignored my request for a simple $50 reimbursement for the data pass their negligence forced me to buy. Throughout the process, I felt entirely dismissed, lied to, disregarded, and minimized. Having extensive experience in the travel industry and having been a short-term rental host myself, this is the first time I have encountered management that makes absolutely zero effort to resolve a critical infrastructure failure or maintain basic hospitality standards. It appears they are inexperienced and take guests for granted, assuming people will continue to book regardless of negative service reviews. Ultimately, staying here is a matter of pure luck: the space is pleasant, but with such an unresponsive and unreliable staff, if anything at all goes wrong during your stay, you will be completely on your own because it will not get fixed.
