The location is great. It is comfortable. And I enjoyed how it felt like a home away from home. We were also granted a late check out on our departure.
I didn’t like how impersonal the property was. It felt very evident that the owner, or whoever I was communicating with on WhatsApp , was based much further west.
We stayed for 3 nights and we didn’t see anyone for the whole stay, and that meant we ran out of the (already low) water tank, and the bins were overflowing, meaning we had to dispense of it ourselves. I didn’t see anything about this in the fine print, but that wasn’t the experience I was expecting, when every other place we stayed at on the island had a local for us to communicate with, and even to see. If it was the case that we would be entirely fending for ourselves then I would expect there to be a full water tank on arrival, and a much bigger bin for the duration of our stay.

Vila is like pictures, value for money and excellent location for restaurants, beach clubs, bars.
5 min walk to beach, however the beach is dirty, no one is swimming, very strong currents. But walk on beach in the evening is beautiful. More than 2 miles long.
Eating out - walkibg distance:
The beach front & sunset view restaurants in 5 min walk great choices : 707 - with life band music in the night, Sukutara restaurant - good for breakfast as well, our favourite for breakfast & cocktails/ juices and pool garden was Granary Cafe 💯 + happy hour cocktails loved it and they have an amazing garden & big pool. We ve tried breakfast on the main street at Bali Boozy restaurant but very slow service and not so great and another one on same street, but we stick with Granary.
Great roof top bar on main street Aloft, amazing sunset view 2 min walk, providing towels, be careful at the meat dishes, my friend got Bali Belli from there, but Pokémon, salads, cocktails are great and amazing view + quiet, almost nobody.
Mari Beach Club, 5min walk from villa, on the way to the bech, no crowds, infinity pool, great sunset, great music and good prices for beds ( you spend the entrance fee 2.3 millions for drinks and food).
The pool is amazing, the best highlight of the vila, water is clean, no mold, no chlorine. There are no sunbeds just pillows.
Kitchen has things to cook, we didn't use it,
Iron bord and iron available.
Suggestion - some more hangers and the bar support to be lowered in the cabinet is too high, I barely could reach to hang out the hangers + one bedroom had no hangers.
We have arranged airport pick with villa driver (29$usd) we arrived late and from the reviews it looked like hard to identify the alley, but is exactly after the K circle mart door, has a sign on the mart wall Vila Elysia & on the gate.
Big supermarket 5 min drive (People) or on same street plenty K marts and other marts.
The vila has no mold ( the sink & shower heads are stained from humidity maybe can be brushed more or changed more often) , no bad oddor overall, however no water pressure on sinks in the bathrooms in the rooms and the bad odor from pipes when you use the sink is horrible, takes a while for the water to start pouring in the sinks and odor to dissapear, we ve used only water from bottle..the shower is ok, has presure and hot water (takes 1 -2 min to start hot).
1st morning there was a staff bromming the terrace at 7.30 am, so we ve asked for staff not to come unlesss required (you send message to owner when you want cleaning the day before), but every morning between 6.30 am to 7.30 am there is somebody bromming the floor outside of the gate, there is an altar there and he brooms the floor & bring offerings (don't step on them) the noise of this little broom for me was like Chinese drop....this sound will be your every day early morning call, better use ear plugs. I really hate that little broom....
Vila has anything you might need for cleaning so no need to buy any stuff.
There is a barel of water provided, has a filter, however we ve used it only for kettle to boil water and for ironing.
Washing machine tried to use it, no water pressure so gives error, detergent provided, guess is left over from people, like we did with our.
Don't dry your clothes on the wooden stands on the terrace, the clothes will get all stains.
Not too many moschitos as expected, Jan is a rainy season, however the kitchen sink is the favorite spot for moschitos to gather, so don't be shocked in the morning to have a nest flying in the sink area and jump on you :)
The safe box, in the 1st bedroom by the gate, it locked but unable to.open it again, we thought it ran out of battery, but no, the staff changed the battery and still not working, he left the key. Anyway now there is the key as back up, but it took 3 days for someone to come and open it.

Host was amazing and very helpful, the property is in a great location close to canngu and Seminyak, and also in a safe little alleyway next to circle K.
Villa was gorgeous and very clean and they also offer cleaning services during ur stay :)
