Me gustó todo, es seguramente el apartamento más cómodo donde me he hospedado. Es precioso, la cocina tiene de todo (nosotros cocinamos bastante en el apartamento así que lo puedo corroborar) , la cama, el sofá y los sillones son comodísimos y estaba todo muy limpio. Nos dejaron hasta una botella de prosecco de bienvenida.
Dunfermline es una pequeña ciudad que tiene de todo, nosotros estábamos a dos pasos de un Tesco enorme y cerquisima de la estación de autobuses, que usamos bastante. La catedral, que es preciosa, está justo enfrente del apartamento y se ve por la ventana.
La distancia desde la estación de tren, son mas o menos 15 minutos a pie así que no es tanto pero si llevas maletas es un desastre porque es todo cuesta arriba y el terreno no ayuda, son difíciles de arrastrar. Aconsejaría coger taxi al menos para llegar al apartamento con las maletas.
Las escaleras, aunque está escrito en la descripción así que ya lo sabíamos, pero hay que tenerlo en cuenta si llevas maletas y pesan mucho, sobre todo porque las escaleras que llevan al apartamento del ático son súper estrechas. Por suerte es una operación que haces solo dos veces.
También aconsejaría mejorar la comunicación, cuando reservamos nos llegó un mensaje automático que decía que nos contactarían una semana antes. Estas eran las instrucciones de travelnest y dado que esto fue lo que me dijeron esto es lo que yo me esperaba. No sucedió, esperé, escribí por Booking y no recibí ninguna respuesta , dos días antes escribí a la dirección de email del propietario, ninguna respuesta. Al final, el día de antes escribí por whatsapp al proprietario y después de algunas horas me contestaron. Probablemente esta es la gestión normal y no veo problemas en general, pero desde el punto de vista de dos turistas que están lejos de su casa, que viajan con equipaje pesado y que no tienen donde quedarse y teniendo en cuenta todas las estafas que hay, también por Booking, nos creo una preocupación innecesaria. Aconsejaría prestar atención a los mensajes que el huésped manda por Booking en modo que no se sienta abandonado.

Bright and spacious accommodation. Great location with a wonderful outlook. Stylish decoration. High quality Egyptian bed linens. Very, very clean.
Entrance and the 57 steps up to the apartment. The top flight of these internal steps is very narrow. The internal staircase could be cleaner. Internally the apartment lacked a few hooks for outdoor coats and for hanging towels/bathrobes in the bathroom. The bathroom had very little space for toiletries and no trays within the shower for soaps etc. None of these things would stop us booking again, we loved our stay.

Luxurious fixtures and fittings that looked brand new. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable living/kitchen/dining area. Great parking outside.
As it is above a pub, it was a bit noisy on the Saturday night (but fine on the Sunday).
