The location is ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet just a short 500-meter walk to beaches, local supermarkets, and excellent restaurants.
The room was a decent size, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside, the pool area is beautiful with plenty of comfortable sunbeds.
What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. The owners are a lovely, friendly, and incredibly helpful couple—nothing was ever too much trouble. Great value for money!

The owners at Avena went above and beyond to help us during our stay. The pool area was absolutely lovely, and it was great having our own kitchenette.
There’s not heaps to do in the village but it’s easy to walk to and from beaches and other day out activities.
I’d maybe recommend renting a car if you’re able to, but this didn’t hinder us in any way as taxis were also very easy to arrange.
Would definitely recommend Avena Suites and would happily stay again.

Wenn man auf der Suche nach einer schönen Unterkunft auf Kreta mit modernen, sauberen Zimmern, herzlichen Gastgebern und einer tollen Atmosphäre ist dann ist man bei Avena Suites genau richtig aufgehoben. Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und wunderschön eingerichtet wie die ganze Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist außerdem mit einem schönen Pool ausgestattet und der Fußweg zum Strand ist angenehm. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen. Vielen Dank von ganzem Herzen an Tito und Shurla für eure Gastfreundlichkeit und die tolle Zeit bei euch!🫶🏻

L'établissement était bien mais quand j'ai réservé ils m'ont pas prévenu que la piscine était en panne pourtant moi j'etais aussi intéressé par la piscine. Dommage
