The property was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was central with the Port, beach shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. The Nestor and Jeeves app was very helpful providing information on all aspects of the property along with the collection and return of keys.
It was a busy area and traffic noise could be issue if you were sensitive to that sort of thing.

The apartment was very clean, well furnished and nicely quipped. The rooms were airy and spacious.
Well located for the harbour and Old Town with several small supermarkets nearby and a very large Carrefour about fifteen minutes walk. Several bars and restaurants nearby, A tram stop for the centre of NIce five minutes away.
The apartment which was excellent in itself was ruined by the constant traffic noise. If you just planned to sleep there - OK with the windows and blinds closed. But if you want a quiet haven after a day's site seeing you don't find it here!
There is absolutely no human contact from the agent. I received an App with a bit of information but nothing really informative There was no friendly welcome and throughout my stay I had no contact from a human being. There were no tourist leaflets or a map in the apartment or instructions for any of the kitchen appliances.
The keys had to be collected from a key box outside an unmanned office. This was 30 minutes walk from the apartment. We were lucky we'd only travelled from the UK and it was the middle of the afternoon but not really acceptable if you have had a long journey and arrived in the evening. The keys had to be returned to the same location!
Talking of keys - we had two sets, which is good but after struggling for several minutes to get the key to work we tried the second set which worked immediately! We very carefully kept the faulty key out of the way to avoid the risk of locking ourselves out. When we returned the keys the office was actually open so we explained the problem to the young man and I'm afraid were overwhelmed by his lack of interest! We had a train to catch so unfortunately didn't have the time to raise the issues I have mentioned here
When I checked my credit card statement on returning home there was a payment of £20.86 to the Mairie de Nice. After a little investigation I think that this is tourist tax. While I don't have a problem paying the tax I do have a problem with the fact that Nestor and Jeeves must have given my card details to the Mairie de Nice without my authority and there was never any mention of tourist tax being due as an additional payment.
I will not use Nestor and Jeeves again.
