Only 10 min walk from the First Direct Arena. Good sized apartment with good facilities.
Room was quite hot and the windows did not open. An air conditioning unit was in the living room, which was great. Powerful fans were provided though.

1. Ideally located and apartment itself was really lovely.
2. Parking very convenient.
3. Security looking after building was (initially) reassuring.
1. The building itself I think/hope is being updated, but looked like a horror film with all the "red paint" leading to other apartments doorways in the building.
2. Whole building seems to be on timed lighting which added to the horror movie vibe if you stood still for a moment to find your door key.
3. We showered in the afternoon and morning and the latter showers were freezing.
4. Came back from night out to man on security podium who had clearly been smoking marijuana. If the car had been broken into then not sure what he would've done.

Great location and parking available which was very useful. The apartment is comfortable and was perfect for what we needed.
You cannot open the windows so it was stuffy and hot. I can imagine this isnt too mich of a problem in the winter but not great in the summer There are fans provided which helps a bit but the lack of fresh air is a big negative. The apartment is also in need of some redecoration.
