Situated in one of the oldest buildings in Bethune the room has been refurbished to a high standard and was very quiet when we stayed. It was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom with a good shower etc, and additional facilities at extra charge. Breakfast arrived promptly outside the door at the time we booked it for. There is public car parking about 50m away, free of charge from 6pm until 9am.
Access to the building is by two keys in lock boxes and the owner emailed the codes on the day of arrival.
It’s maybe a 5-7 minutes walk to the main square with many restaurants and bars.
This is a comfortable place to stay for a few nights and we would stay here again. The age of the building means the accommodation is on two levels with a short flight of stairs up to a sitting area and the bathroom, so it may not suit those a little unsteady on their feet.
If you like milk in your tea or coffee you may wish to take some with you. In our case we were unable to access our emails while travelling so we didn’t receive the lock box codes before we arrived but the owner communicated with us by phone.

Aucun contact humain. Email. Code. boite a clef. Petit déjeuner déposé devant la porte. Et dépôt des clefs sur une table à notre départ.

500 honderd jaar oud huis waarvan de Suite Isabelle prachtig en smaakvol gerenoveerd is.
Geen handleiding voor de TV. Afstandsbediening voor de koeltoren/ventilator zat verdoken onder TV
