This space is a beautiful large clean apartment with everything you would need for home away from home. It has air con and shutters at the windows to keep the heat out. It's decorated with the loveliest of items and has plenty of lamps which are nice when relaxing. The photos on Booking.com ate accurate.
There's lots of items in the kitchen so if you are a cook you'll be able to make a meal, and has a full sized fridge, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine etc and lots of utensils and crockery.
That said, there were no dishcloths or tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder or dishwasher pods. An apartment of this standard and amenities I would expect to find these kitchen items, if only a small amount.
A couple of issues:
Check in - this needs to be refined. It took half an hour for me to be able to check in. You have to message a what's app number that is monitored away from the apartment. They get in touch with a local person who helps, again remotely. It took half an hour to check in, in 30° heat. This could surely be refined to be more streamlined. That said, everyone was very polite and helpful when I did get in touch and I was afforded an early bag drop/check in which I was grateful for.
Location - It's situated on a main road into Rome that is busy 24 hours a day. The bedrooms face onto this road and the apartment isn't particularly sound proof so you hear traffic throughout the night.
It's clear that at some point in the past the terrace was beautiful with lots of well maintained pots and plants but they've been neglected and it's all a bit unkempt, which is a shame and could really enhance the experience of guests.
WiFi ❌ only works in the hallway! Doesn't connect in main bedroom, lounge or outside. Certainly couldn't use this place to work.
Shopping and food - There's a good supermarket 4 minutes walk. You can get lovely coffee and pastries over the road, very reasonably priced.
Check in - needs to be refined, as mentioned above.
The main door to the apartment is locked/unlocked by an electric button and a numerical key pad to gain entry, not a key. Would prefer a key, as the electricity kept tripping.
No dishwasher tabs, laundry liquid, washing up liquid, spray for cleaning the kitchen sides, no dishcloths our tea towels. This should be provided as it's not something you travel with.
WiFi was very poor.
Electricity kept tripping - 3 times in one morning.
