The hotel is simply fantastic! It has incredible views and the room have amazong balconies to enjoy the views, excellent facilities, and incredibly friendly staff. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including Ethiopian and Western cuisine, all at very reasonable prices.
We also booked a tour to the churches of Lalibela through the hotel, where we met Abebe, our guide. We highly recommend requesting him when you make your reservation! He has incredible knowledge and showed us everything in great detail. He was also happy to accommodate our personal requests. For example, on our second day, when we visited the monasteries, we asked if we could do a hike, and he immediately arranged everything.
What an amazing and safe experience!
Hilltop Lodge Lalibelaa is def the best accomodation option in the whole town.

The property is well taken care of and the view is jaw dropping! The rooms are modern, well decorated, immaculately clean and every detail is thoughtful.
Its use of the nature surrounding it from the flowers decorating your sleeping quarters to the garden were some of your vegetables are grown in house to once again the property’s location with it’s amazing viewpoint!
