The apartment is in a fabulous location with beautiful views all around. It is central to everything. On entering the apartment it is so spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also very spacious. It had everything you would need for your stay. The explanation of entry and the video to gain access were excellent. We wish we had booked for longer Thank you for a lovely stay at the Marina Breeze apartment.
This is not a dislike but just a suggestion which could be added to the site information. That the check in is 3.00pm and all the information of how to get in will be given half hour prior to this time. I can appreciate the host would not want to give entry details before this for security reasons.

Location was superb and with easy/good value parking next door. Roomy apartment with lovely views. Bed was very comfy. Only stayed a single night so did not make use of the kitchen facilities, but appeared to have everything needed. Would be a good place to stay if holidaying in the area for a few days.
The windows were hard to close once opened. The window in the main ensuite room did not open (was secured shut) but was very drafty and very noisy the night of our stay when the wind was extremely blustery. The patio door was very awkward to close properly too.
Would have been been handy to have a hairdryer in the apartment (perhaps there was one but we did not find it). Both bathrooms, although extremely clean and lovely, smelt very weird - maybe the cleaning products used, but it was almost nauseous to us sadly.
In addition, there was a fire alarm just as we were preparing to leave the apartment. Absolutley deafening in the apartment itself and very scary. Lasted about a minute , but then repeated again! We even wondered if it was not a fire alarm but a way of telling the people staying to hurry up and get out as it was 'check-out' time. We then did not dare to use the lift in case it was a real fire. However, we acknowledge this is not the fault of the owners of the apartment.
Communication with the owners was rather poor and my initial queries went unanswered. We were also concerned not to receive information about check-in before we left home to travel to the apartment, despite asking for information. It gave us concern we might not be able to check-in on arrival and that the booking was a scam. It did turn out all OK in the end and check-in details were provided at the time of check-in.

The apartment is in a fantastic location with beautiful marina views and a lovely balcony. It is spacious, with two bedrooms, a comfortable living room, a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, which worked perfectly for our group of five. Being on the 8th floor, the apartment offers lovely views, and having a lift made access easy despite the height. The swing chair was a lovely extra feature, and we also appreciated that the apartment is pet-friendly, as we were travelling with our dog. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay in Swansea, and the apartment has great potential.
Unfortunately, our stay started with unnecessary stress when our original reservation was cancelled by the property just one day before arrival. The property apologised by phone and suggested we book directly, but I had already paid over £200 through Booking.com and was not prepared to risk paying over £400 for one night while waiting for my refund. Fortunately, Booking.com processed the refund quickly, allowing me to rebook the same apartment, but by then the price had increased by around £30 and no discount or gesture of goodwill was offered.
I was also told I would receive the check-in details after rebooking, but this never happened and I had to contact the property myself when we were about an hour away to ask how to access the apartment.
The listing was inaccurate. We were a group of five (two couples and one single guest), and although the property advertised two double beds, one single bed and a sofa bed, the "single bed" was actually a folding/camp bed.
When we arrived, the washing machine was already running with someone else's laundry inside. One bedroom also became very hot because the French-style windows could not be opened, and the fan provided was not powerful enough. The carpets are also beginning to show their age, with visible marks and wear.
As someone who works in hospitality myself, I believe that better communication and a small gesture of goodwill after the last-minute cancellation would have made a significant difference. This was my graduation trip, so the unnecessary stress was particularly disappointing.
