The host couldn't have been more kind or helpful, and the apartment is perfectly located. The apartment is very spacious and worked well for our mixed group of friends/family.
The apartment is in the process of being renovated (slow but surely!), so there were a few idiosyncrasies, such as a curtain for the bathroom door (the bathroom with the shower--the other bathroom has a regular door) and the bedroom with a hide-a-bed couch. Also, one bedroom is located such that whoever sleeps there has to walk through another bedroom to get the bathroom/living area. It all worked fine for our group, but is something to be aware of.

The apartment is spacious, very well located, and perfect for large groups. It’s right in the old town of Arles, which is beautiful but not accessible by car, so it’s important to plan your arrival. If not, you may end up carrying your luggage quite a long distance. I recommend stopping briefly at Boulevard des Lices (near Grand Café Malarte) and walking about 300 meters to the apartment. There is no elevator, so keep that in mind.
Parking in the city center is complicated, so it’s easier to leave the car on the outskirts and walk about 10 minutes. We’ve visited Arles several times, and the Monoprix supermarket parking has worked great for us: the first 1.5 hours are free with any purchase, prices are reasonable afterward, and on Sundays it’s free all day.
