Excellent location to explore the remote west coast. It's a well equipped, comfortable place to stay with great views.
Just a couple of small things light bulbs need replacing and didn't figure out the hot water straight away. Really small things.

In one word Wow.
Amazing location. The house was fully equipped. Amazing fire place and underfloor heating.
Owner was very attentive.
I will certainly recommend it.
Two of the bedrooms have a door with a window and no blinds. so you could actually see through.
We put a towel to cover.
I recommend either fitting blinds or install a non see through window like in the third bed room.
This is a very minor issue though

Sean the host was very accommodating and gave us everything we asked for. The views are spectacular and the sheep just the other side of the fence which was lovely 😍 so clean so comfy and would not hesitate to book again thank you xxx

Auf dem Grundstück befinden sich nebeneinander zwei Ferienhäuser, beide mit freiem Blick auf das rund 400 Meter entfernte Meer (inkl. Sonnenuntergang bei passendem Wetter). Nur schon der Blick über die Landschaft ist wundervoll. Der Cheminée-Ofen ist eine perfekte Bereicherung für einen gemütlichen Abend. Tanniges Holz ist genügend vorhanden (leider haben wir das vorbereitete "Kleinholz" im Schrank bei der Eingangstür zum Einfeuern erst bei der Abreise entdeckt, dort drin befindet sich auch die Waschmaschine). Es lohnt sich, gleich zu Beginn mit dem Inhalt aller Schränke und Schubladen vertraut zu machen ;-). Wie offenbar an vielen Orten in Schottland befinden sich überall verteilt Elektro-Schalter. Hier hilft nur probieren bis man das gewünschte findet (obwohl: die meisten sind gut beschriftet). Code für Schlüsselbox wurde kurz vor Anreise über Chat mitgeteilt. Unbedingt Verpflegung selbst mitbringen, auch Wasser für Kaffee/Tee (letzte anständige Möglichkeit in Ullapool, 1 h entfernt). Ab Lochinver "single track road" durch eine wunderschöne Gegend, mind. 20 min rechnen. Bei wolkenlosem Himmel ein unglaublicher Blick in den Sternenhimmel! In der nahen Bucht Kiesstrand, wobei dort sagenhaft gerundete Steine in der grösse von Fussbällen zu tausenden liegen. An der nördlichen Bucht gibt's einen Sandstrand. Empfehlenswerte Wanderung: mit Auto bis Parkplatz Lighthouse Stoer, ab dort zu Fuss Rundwanderweg zum "Old Man of Stoer".
Und: Egal wie das Wetter ist, in Schottland hat jedes Wetter seinen Reiz! Uns wurde Tage zuvor Regen angezeigt und tatsächlich hatten wir letztlich Sonne!
Mit etwas Fantasie haben wir auch die Türen wieder schliessen können (Türgriff nach oben ziehen, dann Schlüssel drehen, gilt für Veranda wie für Haustür). Ist eigentlich kein Nachteil, man muss nur wissen, wie's geht ;-)
Wasser aus dem Hahn roch etwas nach Chlor. Geruch verschwand nach dem Erhitzen im Wasserkocher. Jacuzzi haben wir nicht genutzt (kostet offenbar extra). Bedienung der Dusch-Armatur nicht ganz einfach mit eingeseiften Händen.
