The villa had so much character, an incredible representation of an old merchant house but with modern comforts. Excellent location and generous space.
Manela made our stay so enjoyable, he was so helpful and friendly. He cooked the most amazing Sri Lankan breakfast. Thank you

We were keen to stay in a historic home in GalleFort and Villa 20 Fort did not disappoint. Ideally situated close to everything, this lovely villa was filled with character and charm, giving us a glimpse into the design of homes some 300 years ago. This home has all the modern conveniences and very comfortable beds and bathrooms, with access to a washing machine provided. The bedrooms are beautifully air conditioned and there are ample ceiling fans in the property. As noted by others, the host Manela is a lovely, friendly man who made us most welcome and answered all our questions. He returned in the morning to prepare a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast for us (we could have chosen a non traditional breakfast, but why would we do that?). An outdoor jacuzzi was available but we didnt have time to use it. Highly recommend. One night is not enough. Stay a while in Galle Fort. You wont be disappointed!
