Our 3 generations party of 12 spent 5 nights at Bilin Tree and enjoyed our time there immensely. We occupied the Villa and 3 of the 4 rooms in the newer section and had exclusive use of the property, which has a wonderful and well maintained swimming pool. The staff - Madusa, Indika and Lal were all outstanding and made us feel perfectly at home. Breakfast was always great and included our special requests such as avocado on toast. The evening meals we ate there were all delicious and more tasty than our last meal at a restaurant in Galle Fort. The property was a calming respite after any time we spent looking in and around Galle yet only an easy 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from locations like the Fort or Unawatuna Beach. We celebrated 2 birthdays there and the staff were so generous, even giving flowers, organising cakes and presenting a cricket bat to one of the grandchildren. We could not recommend it more highly and have already done so to family and friends planning to visit Sri Lanka.

This hotel is small and beautiful you can enjoy the beautiful garden every room has its own outside area ( patio/ balcony)!
You’ll get a welcome drink when you arrive, when you sit outside the staff brings you some kind of Moskito repellent smoke thing. When it’s raining and you want to walk to the breakfast area on of the employees will pick you up with an umbrella for the literally two meter walk. The breakfast is great! Just Lovely!!
The bathroom drainage smelled quite a bit. I don’t know if it’s beachside of the installation or what was the deal.

The atmosphere is superb.
Not a location that invites to go for a walk.
