The staff were amazing, everyone at the property was so helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the turn down service was very nicely done. We ate breakfast and dinner here which were both very good. The house is beautiful and very well designed.
Our room was on the small and didn’t have a room fridge. Given the age of the house it is to be expected.

We loved everything about our stay at The Sun House. The location is perfect, central enough to explore Galle easily, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
The hotel itself is a beautiful colonial masterpiece, with so much character and every detail carefully considered. Our room was really comfortable, with a great sized bathroom, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay.
The food was also a highlight. Everything we ate was delicious, particularly the homemade granola and ice cream.
If I had two small suggestions, it would be to add a mini fridge to the rooms and give the pool area a quick sweep in the mornings. Neither took away from our experience though.
