Such a historic and beautiful villa. Stunningly furnished, designed and spotlessly clean. So spacious and loaded with character - but with excellent bathrooms and lively decor. There is a butler and cook team who checked us in & arrived early to provide breakfast then they headed away. The pool was pristine and the location superb, right in the fort so just 2 minutes to historic sites, restaurants and shops. A quick tuk tuk ride to the train station and accessible off Midfle St when we arrived by van. We were aware the Fort can be bad for mosquitos but there were very few,just needed the odd spray. This villa is superb and was one of the highlights of our trip.
Nothing not to like. Hopefully the new owner will keep up maintenance so future guests found it as charming as we did.

Magnifique villa dans le fort de Galle, décorée avec goût. Nous logions dans la suite à l’étage, qui nous était réservé. Il y avait d’autres guests dans une chambre du bas mais cela ne nous a pas gêné du tout. La piscine est un vrai plus, et le service est parfait.
