Location, the gardens on the property & the array of critters in the gardens/pool area throughout the day. Enjoyable to watch.
The bed was way too firm. Quite uncomfortable. I asked if they had another duvet, so I could use it for padding, but unfortunately no.
No bar fridge or tv.
The bathroom door could not close 😳 so definitely no privacy.
The shared/communal breakfast table was not ideal. With the communal tea/coffee station it felt rather hostelish.

Superbly located in Galle Fort, a very short walk from lots of cafés, restaurants and shops. A simple pillared entrance opens into a large lounge area, full of nice antique furniture and interesting art works. This leads out to a wide verandah and a luxuriant and peaceful tropical garden, full of mature trees. There is an out door lounge and dining area where breakfasts are provided. Beyond this is a swimming pool which is great for cooling off after walking in the heat. The (?4) air conditioned bedrooms are comfortable, with large, pillared beds with mosquito nets (not that we saw a single mossie during our stay!). The staff were polite and always helpful.
The mattress was perhaps a little hard for a bony guest like me, but I still slept ok. Nothing else really - we will definitely come back next time we visit Galle!
