Firstly I would like to thank the host of this hotel. My sister left her passport at the airport. No problem it was quickly sorted!!
There is a language barrier BUT again the host was ready with a translator on his phone and we had no issues 😀
The hotel is personal owned by the host so a very personal touch in a world where hotels are owned by faceless companies.
We sat in the evenings chatting (using translator apps ) so beautiful to enjoy people on a personal level. So if you want to experience a personal touch with heart book and enjoy being a part of China.
The hotel is located in a residential area for us it was brilliant. We got to enjoy the local people and great food just 5 minutes walk away. Again no issues even though I don't speak Mandarin.
I didn't get to explore the entire area as I was only there for two nights but I'm returning in 2027 for 4 days in Xian, then on to different places so I will be booking this hotel again.
I love China this hotel is in the heart of a community and really gave me what I needed. Watching and listening to people just living their lives was an experience I'm going to repeat.

Accueil extrêmement sympathique. Petit hôtel charmant, dans une rue au calme, ce qui est rare dans le cœur de Xian. Chambre lumineuse et spacieuse.
Pas de petit-déjeuner possible sur place.
La couette était un peu petite pour un très grand lit.
Les toilettes ne sont séparées que par un rideau du reste de la chambre.

Grande chambre, lit confortable.
L’emplacement est loin du centre et à 20 minutes à pied de la station de métro la plus proche. Une machine à laver et un dryer auraient été appréciables. Le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas optimal. On peut trouver mieux ailleurs.
