This home was a dream come true for our vacation. The location is amazing. It is in a quiet neighborhood in Belfast. We were able to easily walk to a nearby park. While it is a bit further, we were also able to walk into Belfast to eat/shop. With a reasonable drive we were able to visit the Breakwater Lighthouse in Rockland, climb Mt Megunticook in Camden, and swim at Lincolnville Beach. We also visited Acadia, but it is a bit farther (1.5ish hrs) and needs some planning. The best part of the location is the bay. This home is right on the shore. We were able to drink our coffee on the deck each morning and watch boats going in and out of the harbor. The kids loved exploring during low tide. There is no AC, but the breeze from the ocean kept the house cool during our stay if that is a worry for you.Our hosts were wonderful and quickly responded to the few questions I had. Honestly, when I arrived I found that nearly every little thing had been thought of. When I go on vacation I always bring that box of things that you think you may need for the week at the house (cooking utensils, dish soap, hand soap, plastic wrap, etc...). I never unpacked most of it as our hosts had it waiting for us. They also have a guidebook with info about the house and the area and even provided reuseable bags to make the grocery store easier. 100% I would return to this home the next time my family visits Maine.

Location is wonderful. Able to walk to town with the bay right out the back deck.

Very comfortable and well kept. Amazing ocean view and timeless setting. Really enjoyed meeting Dick Page and hearing about the history of Dreamlea. Would definitely consider another visit in the future.
