Welcome to Deer Cabin your haven for adventure and relaxation! A charming getaway, where nature and comfort meet in perfect harmony. Wake up in a cozy cabin that sleeps 2-4, nestled by a serene pond. With a gated entry, you'll enjoy privacy and peace from the moment you arrive. Whether you're at the firepit, enjoying a picnic, or trying your hand at catch-and-release fishing (with catfish, perch, bass, and croppie waiting for you), Deer Cabin offers endless opportunities for fun and relaxation.
The space
This is an open floor plan. We have a full-size bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Extra linens are in the closet in the bedroom.

A table is on the wall to pull down for eating.

Guest access
You are welcome to any area near the pond and the Deer cabin. We have a community picnic area with a picnic table and hammocks to enjoy. There is dog food on the picnic table if you would like to feed the fish in the pond. We do provide a community dog kennel to share between the two cabins located on the property. You will have a set of keys and a remote to enter and exit the gate.
Please, no swimming in the pond please only let your dog drink the pond water at your own risk. It is pond water.

Overall the property was clean, with just a few things that could be better. The cabin and decor were charming. Wifi and a comfortable couch were great. Bed was really firm. If I stay here again, and I probably will, I'll either bring a mattress topper or an air mattress to sleep on. But then, I like a softer bed. The snacks were appreciated. The cabin was very quiet and the proximity to our family was great!

We loved this little place. Perfect for us, clise to our grandkids. Easy for us to find. Beautiful decor, very cute. Will be staying here again.

Yes 1 dog or 1 cat nice area for dogs with a fenced in area for them.Loved the cabin, it was small but very efficient, great for 2 people or young couple with a couple of small children. Beautiful cabin. Very close to our grandkids and that is why we come out here. Will be back!!!

The cabin was clean and cozy. I loved all the special touches. It was so peaceful and comfortable. Our 3 year old son loved running around and feeding the fish in the pond. Our dog absolutely loved checking things out and sniffing all the smells. There were snacks to snack on, a fireplace that could just provide a nice ambiance or turn on the heat, and the solar lights around the porch and pond area were so magical. The price was comparable to most hotels in the area, but the peace and quality was unprecedented. The Beasley family was kind and god loving folk who made us feel welcome from the start. So thankful to have found this little peace of heaven to take a break from our hectic life.
