Daytona Beach Resort continues its restoration following the 2022 hurricanes. While many amenities have reopened, portions of the property remain under repair as improvements continue.
Guests should expect occasional construction activity, including possible daytime noise, dust, equipment, or temporary work areas. Seawall restoration is currently underway, with most activity concentrated near the south side of the property. Construction schedules may vary throughout your stay.
Despite the ongoing improvements, our condo remains clean, comfortable, and fully operational. Guests continue to return for the spectacular ocean views, private balcony, spacious accommodations, direct beach access, and outstanding value. We have stayed at the Daytona Beach Resort several times. Unfortunately, due to hurricane damage and renovations, the resort is in disrepair. The room itself is in good condition, the balcony is accessible, and everything is clean and neat. The room is larger than the others on this and other floors, and the bathroom is larger too. However, beach and amenity access is limited. One outdoor and one indoor pool are open, but we were kicked out promptly at 8:00 pm each night. The other full pool and kiddie pool - including the deck and beach access are a construction zone (complete with noisy construction beginning at 7:00 am). The hotel security is lacking (literally anyone could come and go, as no access cards were issued, so everything was unlocked during the day). Beach access is limited - you have to exit the property and enter through public access - this is directly next to the hotel, but it is locked at 8:00 pm with all the other amenities, so you have to go around the hotel to enter from the front if you want to access the beach in the evening. The hotel is clearly short-staffed, and the property is run-down. This is understandable given the recent hurricane damage, and it is mentioned in the property listing, but people who book here should understand the resort's condition and know what questions to ask to see if issues have been resolved. We do recommend the room, the host, and the resort when it's in good condition, and plan to return once reno is complete.

Could have been more updated. PoolWas advertised as heated, but no heat. A lot of construction not completed. No cold water in shower, plus bathtub would not drain. Condo desk personnel was rude upon our departure.

Renata was a very good host. The property was well managed during Bike Week 2026. The unit, beds, kitchen were all in tip top shape with plenty of amenities.My only knock would be the cable tv was not easy to navigate which is not a problem Renata created. Thanks for a great visit for my 2 sons and I.

Interior was VERY OLD. Furnishings were old, dirty, and not sturdy. Beautiful view of ocean.
