About an hour trip to get into the center of town. Using Uber or Lyft to get into downtown is a good idea as you need to transfer if using public transportation.

Horrible stay

Extremely disappointing and misleading experience in ROOM A. The air conditioner is installed directly next to and above the bed, which is not shown at all in the listing photos. This is a critical detail that was completely hidden. The AC is extremely loud, producing constant noise, making it absolutely impossible to sleep. I suffered every night and was forced to leave the accommodation because the conditions were simply unbearable, with refusal of any refund from both Booking.com and the host, so full financial loss for me as well. Given the heat, it is impossible to turn the AC off, so you are stuck between extreme heat or unbearable noise. This makes the accommodation practically unusable. The host refused to take any responsibility and provided unacceptable responses instead of offering a solution. This place is clearly not as described, and I strongly advise future guests to avoid it unless this issue is fixed and properly disclosed. Very negative experience.

Host is atrocious, does not care whatsoever about guest experience.

Good location, good price, pleasant room. Bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light as the room gets very bright very early in the morning (blinds but no curtains). Window unit cools well.

I did not receive a towel the entire time I was there. I immediately contacted the host when I arrived and realized I didn't have any towels, they blamed it on the cleaning lady, and insinuated that the problem would be resolved. It was not. I did not receive a towel during my entire three night stay, despite contacting the host multiple times, and had to resort to drying myself with a t-shirt. RIDICULOUS. Additionally, the host did not seem to care in the slightest, repeatedly blamed the cleaning lady, and did not take ANY action to rectify the situation (despite, I'm quite sure, being in very close vicinity to the rental). To make matters worse, there are no hand towels in the bathroom, no kitchen towels in the kitchen, not even paper towels! All around, completely unacceptable. Don't host if you can't "host".

The room, bed and apartment were cozy, clean, quiet and secure. The neighborhood is residential with a short walk to Oak Square and the 57 bus to connect to downtown. On street parking is also available close to the home. The sunrise is visible from this room!
