I used to live in that area and respect to Castellammare di Stabia it is very quiet because it is no pass through area. Sometimes free parking in front of B&b is not easy to find, but if you drive around then you will find it.
A good tip for parking is a cul de sac road that you see from the right corner of the property balcony. You can reach the cul de sac exiting the entrance then go left and then left again.
Distance to football stadium, where I went to see a match, it is just 9 minutes walk. To reach the sea front it is 30 minutes walk and during the walk there are a lot of shops. Walk to circumvesuviana (local train station) it is just 18 minutes and from there you can take trains to Sorrento, Pompei, Naples and beat the traffic and parking.
Food is excellent everywhere in Castellammare especially pizzas and cakes. My favourite cake is "scazzetta di Caffe'" that you can find only in Castellammare. The top places to buy it are DI NOCERA or GRAN CAFFE NAPOLI both on the seaside front. Ice cream are gorgeous.
Weather was warm during the day light at end of October, I was tempted to walk to Pozzano for a bath or on the seaside front.
Since I used to live there 26 years ago now there are more cars parked in the street, but if you follow my tip you will find a place.
