The king size bed was very comfortable and the sheets were warm despite there not being an electric blanket which I am used to. The house was exactly as portrayed in the on-line photos and it had all the kitchen and bathroom ammenities required. Although on the main road from Trentham to Daylesford it was quiet in the night, so not a road travelled much during the night.
It was very cold inside when we arrived and took over 24 hours to heat up in the main living area, even with the wood fire going. It doesn’t have a fan to distribute the heat. I think there needs to be better window covering in that area and maybe a bi-fold door to close it off from the hall and passage way.The bedrooms warmed up in a few hours with the reverse cycle heaters going and the doors closed. The bathroom has the heat lamps in the ceiling so was okay.

The cleanliness of the accomodation was the first standout.
Very thoughtfully furnished. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of little extras as well. The fire was very welcome and warming on the chilly nights.
Location was great to Daylesford. Set amongst the lovely open grounds - welcomed by kangaroos and kookaburras. Very serene.

Great little house on the outskirts of Daylesford.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Comfortable bedding. Log fire was wonderful to have.
Shower was hot!

That the water pump is under the house it’s quite loud inside when it kicks in
