The location is absolutely superb...right in the centre of Citta Alta, 1 min walk fron Carrefour, restaurants and the two main squares.
Really secure and located in a historic building itself with views over the nearby church spires which are lit at night.
The apartment is fully equipped with all that you need including a portable air con unit upstairs. TV with the usual Youtube / netflix etc and a kitchen with coffee maker, fridge, hob etc.
Traditional shutters on the window can block out the light and the bathroom is well equipped with toiletries and a shower.
Parking is a 5 min walk but expensive if you are planning on driving but the public transport is superb with a bus stop literally 3 mins walk.
The area itself is stunning and I would definitely stay in this apartment again.
The communication with the host is superb and he answers almost immediately to any question. His access instructions are really clear.
The bed and sofa bed arent the comfiest and its probably better suited for 2 rather than 4 unless you are with kids, in which case its ideal.
Its also a bit of a hunt for recycling bins as the resident bins in the block are not allowed to be used.
But these are minor points and wouldnt deter me coming back!

Lokalizacja apartamentu była naprawdę wyjątkowa – w samym sercu Città Alta, wszystko na wyciągnięcie ręki, poczułyśmy prawdziwy klimat Bergamo. Duży plus również za świetny kontakt z gospodarzem. Apartament bardzo czysty, dobrze wyposażony i wygodny. Jeśli wrócimy do Bergamo, to zdecydowanie wybierzemy to miejsce!

Location
Not upfront about city taxes on booking.com... demanded small extra payment sent directly to them day before I arrived. I booked months in advance.They rang me twice at the airport before I even got home despite me saying that I would deal with it when my holiday was over. When I looked into it, they we're overcharging ... I paid the correct amount not what they asked for initially. It's only a small fee but it was about how they handled it all. Won't be returning!
