The site itself was clean and well kept . Lovely little club house staff really friendly . We were just outside the town itself but we liked it.
As it was end October we couldn’t walk to town as there was no lighting on the roads but summer would be fine if you like a good 20/30 min walk to town . We used the car and was fine

Lovely little caravan site. Good location. Accommodation was nice. Reasonable drink prices. What more. Could one want 😃.

• The caravan was lovely — beautiful decor and really comfortable beds
• Anne on reception was absolutely lovely — so friendly and welcoming 😊
• We knew there was no entertainment on-site, so we bought a karaoke machine at the market for the kids to enjoy. They were happily singing Micheal Jackson’s songs for just 30 minutes at 4:30 in the afternoon, and the warden came round with a “few” complaints. Instead of just turning it down, we turned it off completely. As it felt really awkward. I don't think it's the warden's fault as he's just the messenger, but it still felt unfair to be called out at that time of day. Anne was even shocked and apologised to us about it at check-out. We would never be disrespectful of others and it left a bad taste in my mouth and I felt awkward with my children playing even into the evening and when the kids awoke at 8am we checked out as I continued to feel awkward
• The clubhouse felt a little cliquey — most people seemed to already know each other, as the majority of caravans are owned on-site, so it didn't feel very welcoming to holiday guests.
We unfortunately wouldn't stay again. If you want a super quiet break — this is the place for you. But if you've got children who like to sing and be happy, it might not be the best fit.
